I started my current love of photography with an iPhone while I was picking off Munro's in the Scottish Highlands. The photos I took were fine, with the odd one better than fine (!), but I felt that I would do better if I had a proper camera and so my expensive hobby began!

I'm very fortunate to live in such a beautiful country and be so close to a variety of different landscape types (mountains, coastal, woodland etc.)......though there is definitely a bias towards the rugged mountains, lochs and coastline of the West Highlands and Islands 😊
